BANGALORE, INDIA: Accelerated 3D graphics can now be brought into computing, thanks to the new software from Google, christened O3D. The new software straight out of the Google Labs is a browser plug in, currently compatible with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome that works on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

The Labs' scientists are said to be looking at building the technology directly into browsers at a later stage.

This means that mobile phone without browser capability and Internet access can also access the information from Google through their cell phones!
